Faith Christian School Athletics
Code of Conduct
“ To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of
Coaches and Athletes”
Our first priority as an athletic department is to make sure EVERYONE; players, parents, coaches, and spectators represent Faith Christian School with class and character. We are expected to be examples of CHRIST to others, to represent our school in a CHRIST like manner on and off the fields and courts of competition. Each one of us WILL respect our opponents, fans, officials, and those in authority at each school we are competing with.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
Be quick to help your opponent up and compete on the next play
Any unsportsmanlike penalty (technical/card/flag/ejection) given by officials will require you to meet with AD the next day. Profanity could result to further suspension or punishment.
Dress Code: (Men) Shirt and tie to school on game days. (Women) dress pants, dress jeans,
(no holes). No flip flops are allowed for boys or girls. We will stay in dress clothes on away games until we dress in uniforms for competition.
“Set guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.” Psalms 141:3
Provide encouragement to our athletes and coaches. Be supportive and do not criticize officials. They are human too and will make mistakes.
Respect OUR coaches. We will not approach a coach about playing time (24 hour rule)
